Sponsor a World of Hurt Course: The World of Hurt Training Courses are a multidisciplinary postgraduate professional education series representing a biopsychosocial approach to Pain Mechanism Classification. The book “a World of HURT: A Guide to Classifying Pain” principles are widely tested and used in hospital clinical settings, private practices, and university curricula for multiple disciplines addressing pain and spasticity. Clinicians of all disciplines, payers, and patients can benefit from the common language provided by these training courses. Six training courses addressing pain mechanism classification translated to clinical practice are available for sponsorship.

Request a World of Hurt Consultant: World of Hurt Consultants are experts in translating Pain Mechanism Classification principles into orthopedic and neurological clinical practice in hospital and private practice settings. Examples of consulting services include organizing intake and outcome measurements, electronic medical record data collection and analysis, team building, group treatment, and patient consultation.

Mentoring

Request a World of Hurt Mentor: World of Hurt Mentors are available for individual and group mentorship in translating Pain Mechanism Classification to patient care for pain and spasticity. One time or ongoing mentorship can be arranged for case review, in-services, community and therapeutic pain group education, and co-treatment via skype, zoom, facetime or onsite.
